David Kilgour: Phoning It In, WFMU, April 10, 2005 I’ve been seething with jealousy thanks to reports of the Clean’s recent U.S. tour, which did not visit my neck of the woods. But I can console myself with this fantastic solo set, via the Free Music Archive. As the name of the show suggests, it was literally recorded via a telephone call from New Jersey to New Zealand. But don’t let that stop you — it’s fab, like Kilgour’s very own lost lo-fi EP. Gold in sound, to be sure.  Bonus: I’ve re-upped the Clean Rumba Bar show from 1980. You want it.
