The Grateful Dead - Winterland Arena, San Francisco, CA, October 25, 1969 Show #4! 1969! This isn’t the complete set, I gather, but it’s tremendous nonetheless. Stephen Stills is apparently sitting in, but he’s only really audible (as far as I can tell) on “Turn On Your Lovelight.”  Choice Cut: Best version of “Closing Comments By Bill Graham” ever! JK. The 22-minute “Dark Star” here is luminously lovely. The forces tear loose from the axis, for real.
