Perpetual Nervousness: A Feelies Family Tree
This month, The Feelies will release Here Before, their fifth album. For a band that’s been around since the mid-70s, five records might not seem all that prolific. But those releases aren’t quite the whole story. What I’ve got for you here today is a little Feelies family tree: side projects, solo projects, rarities, related bands, etc, presented in (roughly) chronological order. Not totally comprehensive or anything — there are probably a few groups I’ve missed. But overall, it’s a nice sampler of the various projects the band’s members have worked on outside of The Feelies. A note: I generally stay away from commercially available material here, but there are some things on this comp that you can purchase.
